Training description and objectives

This instructional video is designed to increase awareness among healthcare professionals about ethylene oxide and its health effects. It also intends to enhance competency in the recognition, management, and counseling of patients exposed to environmental hazards.

At the conclusion of the session, the participant should be able to:

  1. Describe the latest science on ethylene oxide exposure.
  2. Discuss potential adverse clinical effects associated with ethylene oxide exposure.
  3. Describe how to clinically manage patients exposed to ethylene oxide.
  4. Describe how to improve collaborative practice across the health care team regarding the diagnosis and treatment of patients exposed to ethylene oxide.
